How many grafts are needed to cover the vertex during a hair transplant? It depends on the extent of baldness on your vertex, for a completely bald vertex it would take about 4000 to 5000 grafts or 8500 to 12000 hairs to cover everything.
Note: the Sapphire FUE method is more appropriate for vertex transplantation than the DHI method due to the low blood flow to the vertex area.
